Despite being warned and escorted away from the location, a devotee, Valluri Vamsidhar Reddy, allegedly returned for the photo shoot and posted it on the social media
by G.P. SHUKLA · The HinduLittle did an overzealous devotee, identified as Valluri Vamsidhar Reddy, know that his desire to photo shoot himself at the temple of Lord Venkateswara would land him in trouble.
Mr. Reddy, who offered prayers during the VIP darshan on November 28, 2024 (Thursday), embarked on a photo shoot session soon after emerging out of the temple complex with a team of four photographers whom he had brought along with him.
The Vigilance personnel, on noticing it, immediately intervened and warned him to desist from the photo shoot after briefing the regulations in place and also escorted him away from the location.
But unaware of the consequences, Mr. Reddy returned to the same spot and resumed his session and later posted it on a social media platform, which soon gained traction, drawing sharp criticism for breaching the sanctity of the hill temple.
The TTD’s Vigilance and Security Department, which took serious note of the incident, decided to pursue legal action against the erring devotee.
In a statement on November 29, 2024 (Friday), it reiterated that any action undermining the sanctity of the temple town would be dealt with firmly.
