BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal tease 'something special' hours before live show

Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał have teased 'something special' to fans ahead of their performance this weekend. The reality TV star and his professional dance partner have made it through to week 10 of the BBC dance contest after surviving the public vote last week.

The former TOWIE star strut his stuff in pink latex trousers in Blackpool last Saturday (November 16) whilst performing the Cha Cha Cha to 'I'm Too Sexy'. Despite finding himself at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 27 from the judges, including a 4 from Craig, Pete and Jowita are now one step closer to the final.

Discussing their performance on It Takes Two earlier this week, Pete confessed to host Janette that he was 'out of his comfort zone', but was determined to progress in the competition.

Pete told Janette: "Funnily enough, it was my first time in latex trousers so I didn't know the ins and outs of it." This Saturday (November 23), Pete and Jowita will be dancing the Tango to Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins.

And it appears the podcast host will be donning a bold outfit once again. In a video shared to Jowita's instagram story, Pete donned a bright yellow suit as he compared himself to a 'banana'.

"Happy Friday," Jowita smiled as Pete looked unimpressed. He then said: "I have come as a banana," to which Jowita said: "Do you know actually bananas are my favourite. I eat my porridge with banana usually."

Jowita then went on to tell fans that the outfit was part of 'something special' ahead of their performance tomorrow night. Pete then responded: "Yeah it's definitely going to be something special."

Speaking about their Tango, Pete then joked: "I haven't been able to sleep with excitement. I enjoy the Tango, whether or not it is good is a different story."

Earlier this week, Jowita joined Pete as his co-host on his Staying Relevant podcast which he usually hosts with best pal Sam Thompson. With the reigning King of the Jungle back in Australia for the new I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here spin-off show, Unpacked, Pete let Jowita join him on the latest episode as his new co-presenter.

In a clip shared to Staying Relevant's Instagram, Pete asked the dancer: "If you weren't dancing with me, who would you want to dance with?" Jowita remained silent to which Pete said: "Don't sit on the fence, answer the f**king question!" But Jowita replied: "But I don't want that. I said to you from the beginning, I want to dance with you!"

But Pete rephrased he question and said: "If you weren't allowed... I'm not an option." With Jowita still not answering, Pete asked again: "If you couldn't dance with me, who would you like to dance with?" He then added: "I know the answer to it..." When Jowita asked: "Do you?" Pete replied: "Yeah, 100%"

Jowita didn't believe him before Pete said: "Jamie [Borthwick]..." before he could explain why, Jowita immediately answered: "Yeah.." prompting a stunned reaction from Pete and laughter in the studio. "You and Jamie would have been great as in, you get on really well with him, you would have had loads of fun with Jamie and Jamie's a really good dancer."

As Jowita agreed, she then went quiet, seemingly imagining herself performing with Jamie to which Pete said: "Okay, stop thinking about it now because unfortunately you're not with Jamie are ya? You're stuck with me."
