ITV I'm A Celebrity fans think 'seething' star could walk as they spot reaction in camp
by Miranda Pell · Manchester Evening NewsITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is almost a week in, and the ration-induced hunger is already kicking in for the celebrity campers.
One of the rules in camp is that no outside items are allowed to be brought in, other than absolute essentials.
Throughout the week, one celeb has been teasing other campers, saying that they may have brought in contraband.

In yesterday’s episode, radio DJ Dean McCullough, who has already taken part in three bushtucker trials, revealed that he had snuck in some teabags.
He decided to make a pot of tea and hand it out to other celebs on the downlow. After some confusion from some campers regarding the strange coloured ‘hot water’, most of the celebs also drank the tea.

As you can expect, Ant and Dec had a punishment ready for the rule break. After Melvin Odoom, Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles successfully completed a task involving sludge, Melvin went to collect the prize to find that the ten cupcakes he had won had been reduced to five.
And a letter from I’m A Celeb organisers revealed that the treat was cut in half as a punishment for Dean’s tea-gate.
It was a bittersweet moment for the celebs when Melvin returned with the halved treat. After receiving very low amounts of food due to unsuccessful bushtucker trials, the campers are already getting hungry.
Former boxer Barry McGuigan was particularly put out by the news. He said: “So presumably it’s the teabags right? Gonna get us in trouble, we’re not gonna get our cakes.” Later on in private, Barry said: “Unfortunately we were punished and ten became five. I’m pretty annoyed about that.”

I’m A Celeb fans have taken to X to share solidarity for Barry, who has already expressed how hungry he is in the jungle.
One viewer has predicted Barry could be the first to walk out. They wrote: "Barry isn’t enjoying himself at all. I predict he’ll quit before Sunday".
Other I'm A Celeb fans added comments such as: “Poor Barry”, and “Nah I’m with Barry on this one I’d be fuming too. Dean just doesn’t care and it’s infuriating.”
People noted Barry’s anger. Someone commented: “Barry McGuigan is f***ing seething about that cupcake.” And another person said: “Barry fuming with Dean and his teabags”.
One I’m A Celeb fan said: “They are lucky Barry is a sweetheart. He's an ex-sports man, probably used to eating a lot. And already complaining about being hungry. Any other would have flipped his lid already.”
However someone suggested that maybe Barry isn’t such a victim after all. They wrote: “Sorry Barry, you were happy enough to drink the tea, don’t act like the poor victim now”.

Earlier this week, Barry spoke about how he tragically lost his daughter. Someone wrote on X: “I’d like Barry to win after what he’s gone through with his daughter. Think he’d really appreciate it”.
As well as Dean’s tea-based rule break, N-Dubz star Tulisa also had a sin to repent for. She revealed that Melvin had snuck her some salt to put in the food, but she didn’t use it because she didn’t want to be punished.
I'm A Celeb is broadcast every evening at 9 pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
