ITV I'm A Celebrity's Ant and Dec 'break down in tears' as fans respond to jungle update

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have jokingly been seen breaking down in tears as fans rushed to respond to their update from the jungle. The duo will be back on screens this weekend with the return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

The 10 stars joining Ant and Dec in Australia and swapping their lives of luxury for time in camp in the jungle were officially confirmed by ITV on Monday night (November 11) after months of rumours - and days before the 2024 series begins on Sunday, November 17, at 9pm.

Those set to join hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly in the outback are Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse, TikTok and Loose Women star GK Barry, N-Dubz singer Tulisa, McFly's Danny Jones and WAG Coleen Rooney.

Making up this year's line-up are BBC Radio 1 DJ Melvin Odoom, Loose Women panellist and journalist Jane Moore, Former boxer Barry McGuigan and Radio presenter Dean McCullough.

Ahead f the show beginning, Ant and Dec have been preparing for their three-weeks-worth of live shows. They've also been keeping their fans and followers updated and shared a video of themselves on Instagram heading onto the set in the midst of the lucious green jungle.

A caption across the video read: "Us seeing the jungle for the first time (this year)." The clip showed the pair walking across their set to get a better view of their surroundings before pulling shocked faces. They then pretended to beak down into tears in hilarious scenes and said: "Us? Dramatic!? Never. #ImACeleb."

And fans rushed to respond as they shared their excitement for the upcoming series. @grandnationaldream said: "Can’t wait!! You boys are so funny!!" @tonymct69 commented: "Can’t wait !!!! Howay the lads what a line up." @fayea.8 wrote: "Cannot wait !!!!!!!! Love the show highlight of my year." @emmarose5135 addd: "Can’t wait for it to start."

It comes as it has been revealed that the new campmates will need to bring their A-game from the get-go as they prepare for an epic race to kickstart their jungle journey.

Promising to be the most competitive launch ever, this year the campmates will be instructed to pair up and partake in a number of challenges, competing against their fellow campmates in a bid to cross the finish line first. It's all to play for, as throughout the challenges there will be plenty of opportunities to overtake and fight to the finish.

The winning pair will be awarded the coveted title of the first leaders of camp, they'll be exempt from any chores, will get to sleep in the Leaders' lodge, and run the camp exactly the way they'd like.

The luxurious Leaders' Lodge boasts two wonderfully comfy beds with mattresses, shelter from the rain, as well as plush duvets and pillows guaranteed to keep them warm and snug during their jungle stay.

The notorious camp leader chair has also transformed this year, with two red leatherbound seats for the two equal leaders of camp, working closely together at all times to rule and maintain a harmonious camp.

And that's not all, as always in the jungle, the campmates should expect the unexpected as there's a hidden twist guaranteed to shake things up which will unlock more power and additional perks than ever before for the camp leaders.
