Coronation Street's Alan Halsall gets same comment amid 'gorgeous night' with co-star
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsCoronation Street star Alan Halsall was subject to the same comment via his co-star after their 'gorgeous' night out together. The actor was seen enjoying a dinner with Andy Whyment and their families.
Alan, who is famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, and Andy, who is known to fans for playing Weatherfield's Kirk Sutherland, have formed a strong bond over the years outside of week, having enjoyed more than two decades on the cobbles.
Therefore it is no surprise for fans to see them hanging out together away from the Corrie set. This week, the pair were joined by a couple of their family members as they headed out for a pre-weekend dinner together.

Taking to Instagram, Andy shared a snap of himself alongside his wife Nicola and their daughter Hollie while Alan was seen with them and his daughter Sienna, who he shares with his Corrie star ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson.
The group has gone out to La Casa at Astley Point in Astley, Lancashire, and smiled for a snap together before Andy shared it to Instagram to gush over their meal.
Alongside the picture, the soap star said: "Lovely meal @lacasa.astley @nicski31 @holliewhyment10 @alanhalsall and Sienna." Alan then went on to share the photo to his Instagram Story and said: "Gorgeous night with the Whyment's and the food @lacas.astley 10/10."
But it was in response to Andy's post that comments were quickly made about Alan's rumoured job away from Corrie. The soap star is expected to be following in his friend's footsteps by heading Down Under for the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

The hit ITV reality show, hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, returns to screens on November 17 with a rumoured line-up already said to include Alan, WAG Coleen Rooney, former Love Island star Maura Higgins, Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse and McFly star Danny Jones.
Responding to Andy's post, @kellyannem83 asked: "Is this the last supper for Alan before he takes up rice and beans? Oh and critters lol." @mick147 said: "Alan saying goodbye before he goes down under with Ant and Dec." @stan_tier2 replied: "Good luck in the jungle Alan."
@brettfarrell99 laugh: "A pep talk before the jungle." @mandyandjohn posted: "Filling his belly with good food before his trials! Good luck." @jill_malkin21 added: "The last supper B4 Alan goes on his big adventure."
