A glove thrown from stage by Taylor Swift just fetched huge sum at auction

by · Manchester Evening News

After being thrown from stage by pop superstar Taylor Swift, a glove has just fetched a hefty sum at auction.

The pop star launched the pink lace mitt into the crowd during a gig in Belfast more than a decade ago. During the concert, on March 25, 2011, Swift walked down some steps in front of the stage.

While singing 'Speak Now' in front of fans that were behind a barrier, she removed the glove and threw it to her adoring fans. It was caught by one Swiftie sitting close to the front row, who has held onto it ever since.

In the vendor's own words: "Taylor came off the middle stage whilst singing 'Speak Now', walked down steps and along a path in front of fans that were behind a barrier.

''I had seats at the very front and when she threw her glove, I caught it".
