BBC Stictly Come Dancing's Montell Douglas sparks fears with Johannes Radebe announcement after dance-off drama
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsStrictly Come Dancing fans have shared their fears for Montell Douglas, after an announcement was made about her and Johannes' return to the ballroom.
The pair will be looking to bounce back during the next live show on Saturday night (November 30) after having to fight for their place in the BBC One dance contest's quarter-final.
The pair already appeared to bounce back during the latest live show last Saturday night (November 23) after surviving being in the bottom two during the previous weekend's Blackpool special. As they returned to the Elstree Studios ballroom, Montell and Johannes performed their quickstep to Get Happy by Ella Fitzgerald again in a bid to impress the judges.
They had received a score of 37 out of a possible 40 for the routine with Anton Du Beke saying it was their best performance since their couple’s choice. However, Craig Revel Horwood thought it looked "a bit stiff" at the beginning but felt the dynamics were "out of this world".
Then, during Sunday night's (November 24) results show, Gladiator Montell and Johannes found themselves under the dreaded red light for a second week in a row, this time alongside EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and his professional dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas.
Both couples performed their routines again in the hope of making it through to next weekend's quarter-final. The judges unanimously agreed to save Montell and Johannes, sending Jamie and Michelle home and out of the competition.

It's not been revealed that Montell and Johannes will be performing a notoriously difficult rumba during the upcoming Musicals Week to I’m Here from The Color Purple. And fans are a bit concerned.
@poppyfieldsofgold said: "I hope not but a rumba at this stage, i worry for montell again. I think Tasha cld b bottom 2 as she is a fantastic dancer but don’t know if she has the fan base." @ca1usx replied: "We need to vote for them both! the worst situation we could have is Tasha vs Montell in a dance off- they’re both deserving finalists."
Mary Keane wrote on Facebook: "Poor Montell getting the rumba in the quarter finals." Catherine Todd added: "Not great timing for Montel getting not only a song nobody knows but a rumba."
