BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'missed you' as Wynne Evans and Katya Jones share update
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsStrictly Come Dancing fans have flooded Wynne Evans and Katya Jones with messages as they were seen back together weeks after their exit from the competition.
Viewers of the hit dance show will recall that opera singer Wynne and professional dancer Katya bowed out of the competition after they had to bounce back as they headed to Blackpool for the show's annual special in the world-famous Tower Ballroom following a stint in the dance-off.
They then found themselves in the dance-off again during the special episode and the judges unanimously chose to save their competitors Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe, which sent them through to week ten of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series while Wynne and Katya were sent home.
But, weeks on, and the pair have been reunited as they prepare to take part in the show's upcoming final which sees the class of 2024 get one last stint on the ballroom floor.
Taking to Instagram, Wynne shared a snap of the pair back in Strictly's famous ballroom and said to his fans and followers: "I’ve spent the day with this one @katyajones and it’s been AMAZING." Katya was quick to respond to the post, sharing a string of red hearts in the comments section.
And they his followers were also quick to respond to the update. @nicvernon said: "Looking forward to seeing you two dance again on Saturday." @bakesnbeads commented: "Looking forward to seeing you two dance again." @lexirosetaylor_ wrote: "Missed you both!"

After this weekend, Wynne and Katya's dancing journey won't be over as they're set to be reunited again as it's been announced that Wynne will take part in the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour in 2025. As with years gone by, some of the famous faces from the hit BBC One dance contest will tour the country early next year.
The seven celebrities will hit the road from January 17 to perform 30 dazzling shows across the country until February 9, with Manchester set to be doused in Strictly sparkle when the stars arrive at Manchester's AO Arena on February 1 to 2. Wynne, Tasha Ghouri, JB Gill and Jamie Borthwick were the final of the show's starts confirmed to be continuing their Strictly journeys into the New Year alongside the previously announced cast of actress Sarah Hadland, singer Shayne Ward and Gladiator Montell Douglas.
