Emmerdale's Moira Dingle 'to be killed off' as fans spot 'worrying clue'
by Angie Quinn · Manchester Evening NewsEmmerdale delivered high drama on Wednesday night (November 20) as Moira Dingle, portrayed by Natalie J Robb, faced a critical brain surgery after being diagnosed with a tumour.
Her spouse Cain, played by Jeff Hordley, was visibly shaken by the ordeal of his wife's risky procedure.
Instead of staying at the hospital for news, a distraught Cain returned to the village where he spiralled out of control, indulging in alcohol, assaulting Jimmy King (Nick Miles), and having an affair with his sister-in-law Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).
Upon his return to the hospital, Cain's brother Sam Dingle (James Hooton) remarked on his inebriated state and informed him that although there had been complications during Moira's operation, it had ultimately been successful.

Cain was consumed with remorse as he sat by Moira's bedside. In a poignant moment, when Moira asked him to hold her hand, he realised he already was, indicating a serious issue.
"Cain, hold my hand," Moira implored, to which he responded: "I'm holding it. I love you.", reports Leeds Live.
This emotional exchange has left Emmerdale viewers deeply concerned for Moira's fate.

Fans took to Facebook to express their worries, with one commenting: "Moira couldn't feel Caine's hand more problems to come?".
Another added their theory: "They said she had a fit and there was a lot of bleeding ... maybe she did die during the op and they'd why she saw Holly."
Others shared similar sentiments, fearing that this could be a sign of troubling times ahead for Moira. One other person added: "Maybe she had a stroke after surgery and wont recover."
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and available to stream from 7am on ITVX
