BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'finally' as major Blackpool move spotted after demand
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsStrictly Come Dancing fans have declared 'finally' as a major move for the upcoming Blackpool special, which has been spotted following their demands. The hit BBC One dance contest is heading to the seaside for one week only.
This Saturday (November 16), the eight remaining couples who have been it to week nine of the 2024 competition will perform in the iconic Tower Ballroom in the hope of impressing the judges and those watching at home as the grand final edges ever closer.
As well as performances from the eight remaining celebrities and their professional partners, the latest live show will also feature a performance from Pet Shop Boys, who will open it with a medley of hits as the Strictly professional dancers perform a routine.

The Pet Shop Boys will then be back during Sunday night's (November 17) crucial results show with their latest single, a cover of Mott The Hoople’s All The Young Dudes, which David Bowie wrote, before the latest couple to leave the competition is revealed.
After both couples came top of the leaderboard last weekend, Strictly fans will see JB Gill and Lauren Oakley will perform a quickstep to Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, and former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and partner Aljaz Skorjanec will perform a paso doble to Torn by Nathan Lanier.
Elsewhere, opera singer Wynne Evans and Katya Jones will perform a Charleston to Carmen Suite No.1: 5 Les Toreadors by Georges Bizet, reality star Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal will cha cha to I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred.
