Michelle Keegan surprises with bubble bath snap as she confirms inspiration behind sweet home tribute

Michelle Keegan has given fans a glimpse into how she's been spending her time recently, including taking a moment of self-care amid an often busy schedule.

The Stockport-born actress took to Instagram where she posted a series of photographs that gave a look at her 'life lately' and among the collection was a photo of Michelle unwinding in an opulent roll-top bath - with her beloved dog, Pip, keeping her company as she stood at the side of the bubble-filled tubbed.

The photo seems to have been taken at Soho Farmhouse - a members' club and hotel situated in the Oxfordshire countryside where Michelle was recently seen enjoying some time out.

Other photos in the set featured Michelle getting glammed up by her "glam squaddie" and a mirror selfie taken during the Nadine Merabi AW24 showcase at London Fashion Week, in which she looked stunning in a red bouclé-tweed design featuring a tulip-style skirt and square neckline with pearl trim detailing.

She wrote in the caption: "Life lately!" before explaining her carousel of snaps, which she said featured a "Mid-week dress up" and "My idea of heaven," which referenced her serene moment in the bath.

Michelle, 37, also had her followers giggling as she hit a golf course, with her seen laughing with the person filming over her swing. She also revealed that a recent addition to her home was in tribute to another of her pets, dog Phoebe.

Captioning the post, the former Coronation Street star typed: "Life lately! 1. Last of Summer 2. Glammy Squaddie 3. Breakfast @ The Berkeley 4. Hazza working his magic 5. Mid week dress up 6. Tiger Woods is terrified 7. All the good stuff 8. My idea of heaven 9. IYKYK 10. For my Phebs."

The last image showed a poignant piece of artwork that had been created for her and her husband Mark Wight's Essex mansion. Michelle previously gave a glimpse at the work, which she said gave her 'goosebumps' as she thanked artist David Howarth for creating the piece which features the words: "There's a place in my heart that will never belong to anyone but you..."

When Michelle first shared a look at the artwork earlier this month, the former soap star said: "@davohowarth has done it again...honestly I get goosebumps every time I look at it. A personal piece of art that I will cherish forever (just like the one he designed for my hallway not long ago)," she wrote alongside a picture of the art in all its glory in her Instagram Story.

Artist David also shared a picture of himself and Michelle by the artwork, which is seemingly taking pride of place in the bright and spacious kitchen area. "A personal piece for @michkeegan," he captioned the post.
