The Girls Aloud Show on ITV time tonight, when it was filmed and how to watch in full

Fans of Girls Aloud are in for a treat as those who lived the band's reunuion earlier this year will get another taste of the action while those who couldn't make it to acclaimed sell-out arena tour will get the chance to see it for themselves.

It’s been 22 years since Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Nicola and Sarah were voted the winners of Popstars: The Rivals and formed the all-conquering legendary pop band, Girls Aloud. To celebrate this milestone and honour their bandmate Sarah, Girls Aloud embarked on a huge arena tour of the UK and Ireland in May and June of 2024, to critical acclaim and the delight of fans the world over.

Sarah, who grew up in Stockport and was part of the girl band since their inception on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, died at the age of 39 in September 2021 after she was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.

The Girls Aloud Show: Live at The O2 - recorded in London at the end of June during the tour, which saw the band play to over 300,000 people, earlier this year featured emotional tributes to the late singer.

The show highlights plus some sneak peeks behind-the-scenes and airs as a one hour special on Sunday night (November 17) at 8pm on ITV1, the date being of significance as it would have been Sarah's 43rd birthday.

The full extended arena show will also be available to stream on ITVX. This film from one of the shows from their legendary run of 5 nights at London’s The O2 offers another chance for fans to enjoy the show if they missed it first time round as well as letting audiences relive their favourite moments when the full show lands on ITVX.

Tributes were paid to Sarah during the tour

Nicola said: "This show is a massive celebration of our journey over the last 22 years. It was a great chance for us to showcase our catalogue of music that we’re so proud of, and to celebrate and remind people of our incredible Sarah." Cheryl commented: "It was pure joy and nostalgia at every show. It was amazing to look out at the crowd every night, especially in the moments when we all remembered Sarah together."

Nadine shared: "The Girls Aloud Show is a unique experience because there's so much excitement and camaraderie in the room – we're all in it together. Our fans got so creative with their costumes – they came as different eras of Girls Aloud." Kimberley added: "It's exciting to think that anyone who didn't manage to see The Girls Aloud Show when we toured the UK is going to have this chance to share it with us now."
