If you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, albeit without the option of free gifts, Superdrug’s Rosemary Hair Oil for £6.99 promises restorative hair effects and a natural shine. One shopper said it left their hair feeling 'amazing' but some said it had 'no effect' on their hair. Elsewhere, the Mark Hill Hair Strengthening Tonic at Boots for £11.99 says it will help your hair to feel stronger and look more luscious.
But if you do want to treat yourself or someone else, the Perfect Hair Ritual has an average rating of 4.76 out of 5 at Christophe Robin, with customers raving about the results. “This stuff is great, my scalp is itchy and this really helps,” said one five-star review. “It cleans and lathers easily; the salt grains soon dissolve and leave the hair and scalp clean.” Another customer said: “Hair is growing quicker and thicker as a result of adding this shampoo scrub to my hair care routine."
Some customers have flagged its density as being challenging to wash out of certain hair types. One shopper wrote: “The only issue I had with the product is that it is a very thick paste, which makes it difficult to clean and rinse out of very long, thick hair.”
The Regenerating Mask, meanwhile, is designed to condition and nourish dry, damaged hair, although it will have a positive effect on almost all hair types. Its prickly pear oil works to leave hair feeling supple, smooth frizz, and minimise split ends, while its vitamin F complex restores and revitalises the hair shafts.

With 4.69 out of 5, it's got plenty of fans at Christophe Robin too. “This is an exceptional formula, that is luxurious and decadent to use, with a natural scent that doesn't feel or smell synthetic at all,” said one five-star review. “Leaves your hair with a soft, sophisticated scent that is not overpowering but noticeable enough to be a real sensory pleasure. Detangles like a dream. I didn't expect to be this impressed, however it's my new favourite hair mask now!”
Some have questioned the effects. “My hair doesn't feel as smooth or look as shiny as I'm expecting it to be, but it sure is luxurious using the product," noted one. Another reviewer said it "weighed" their hair down which left them disappointed.
A user who had a better experience added: "It really does what it says. I’ve found a range that I will use for the rest of my life. I love the scent too."
