Three-bed terrace could be yours for just £12k, but you'll have to deal with its six stinky residents
by Lee Grimsditch · Manchester Evening NewsOne of the UK's most affordable homes is set to go under the hammer for a mere £12,000 - but it comes with a rather unpleasant catch: a mountain of pigeon poo. The three-bedroom end terrace house in Blackpool, Lancashire, is due to be auctioned off on December 5.
However, any potential buyers will have to deal with a feral bird infestation that has left the property covered in faeces. A marketing photo of the property - which is not open for viewing due to its poor condition - shows six pigeons perched in one of the bedrooms.
The disturbing image also reveals how the birds have coated the floors and furniture with inches of their droppings. Other snaps of the brick-built home show fixtures and fittings ripped from the walls.

In the living room, a cupboard has been propped up against the bay windows, while more pigeons can be seen on a fridge in the kitchen. A pile of building waste fills the back garden.
Network Auctions, which has listed the property with a guide price of £12,000 to £15,000, states that it requires a "complete refurbishment".
Their description reads: "Facing Haig Road with rear access to the yard via Adrian Street, just back from the seafront and beach."
"The house requires a strip out and re-fit.”
“No viewings due to internal condition – the property has a pigeon infestation.”
The property can be viewed on the Network Auctions site here.
