Coronation Street fans fume 'how many times' as Daniel Osbourne and Daisy Midgeley twist 'worked out'

Coronation Street fans have slammed Daniel Osbourne as he has found himself stuck between two women once again following a brief reunion with ex-fiancee Daisy Midgeley.

Daisy has never changed her feelings towards Daniel following the end of their relationship last year after she was exposed for cheating on him with Ryan Connor. Shortly after they ended, Bethany Platt returned to Weatherfield and she and Daniel quickly picked up where they once left off.

However, not too long ago, Daisy admitted to Daniel that she still loved him - but he didn't recipricate her advances and soon after he became focused on Bethany after botched cosmetic surgery left her fighting for her life in Turkey.

But, earlier this week, Daisy but herself on the line to help Daniel. During Monday night's (December 9) episode of the ITV soap, viewers saw Debbie Webster drive her new car across the cobbles. They almost struck Bertie Osbourne, who ran across the road to see Bethany following her fallout with his dad.

Daniel was already furious with Debbie for her role within the cosmetic company that botched their girlfriend Bethany's liposuction procedure and so was quick to rant at Debbie for nearly running over his son. Despite being unimpressed by his latest outburst, Bethany agreed to meet Daniel later for a drink.

They cleared the air, but things soon went back downhill for the pair as Bethany saw Jenny Connor wearing one of her tops, discovering Daniel hadn't got rid of the clothes she'd decided to throw out and instead left them with ex-Daisy Midgeley. Having fallen out again, Daniel drowned his sorrows before he stumbled around outside, catching Kevin Webster leave the keys to sister Debbie's repaired car under the wheel.

Daniel recklessly decided to take it for a spin as a stunned Daisy caught him before he crashed the motor. She quickly helped him out of the car and as he stumbled to look at the damage, Daniel told Daisy he had to call the police but he couldn't lose Bertie as he's all he's got. Against her better judgement, she took Daniel back to the Rovers and later told him that the incident was now taken care of but refused to reveal the details.

DC Kit Green, meanwhile, was busy answering Debbie's call about her missing car, with her quick to blame Sarah Platt following the run-in with Bethany. But at the end of the episode, with Sarah in the clear, when Kit checked CCTV at the police station, he clocked love interest Daisy driving Debbie's car.

It was then during Wednesday's (December 11) Corrie that Kit confronted Daisy with the footage and she admitted to dumping the vehicle in a back street. He ended up hiding the video from his colleague PC Craig Tinker, who was keen to get to the bottom of what happened to Debbie's car.

Elsewhere, Daniel had pleaded with Bethany to take him back after he lashed out at her over the cancer lie but having taken some advice from her mum, Sarah, she informed Daniel she was leaving him as it was for the best. He found comfort in Daisy after discovering she'd set Debbie's car in flames to hide all evidence of Daniel's crime.

One thing then led to another and they ended up in a passionate embrace, something which Daniel deeply regretted afterwards when Daisy thought they were about to give their relationship another go while Bethany had second thoughts about their split.

But Corrie fans think a twist will be on the cards as they fumed at Daniel for his behaviour. @philm2244 said: "How many times is Daniel gonna say sorry... I do love you Bethany, but Ive just slept with Daisy. And knowing the scriptwriters, she will probably be pregnant., #Corrie." @LyndseyFitz commented: "Daisy will find out she’s pregnant by Daniel in a few weeks!! #Corrie @itvcorrie."
