ITV I’m A Celebrity fans say ‘please stop’ after Dean’s ‘boring’ bushtucker trial

by · Manchester Evening News

I’m A Celebrity fans have called for viewers ‘to stop’ voting for Dean McCullough to do bushtucker trials as the show is ‘getting boring’. The Radio 1 DJ took part in another bushtucker trial during Thursday’s episode of the ITV show.

Dean had already been selected to do previous trials including Sinister Sarcophagus on Tuesday, which he had to quit midway, only winning two stars for camp. On Thursday he once again turned up to the bushtucker trial clearing to face Lethal Lab.

The trial started off quite easy, where he had to combine some liquids to win two stars. But it then got more difficult as he had to place his head inside plastic boxes and remove stars with his mouth. As this was a bushtucker trial it meant he wasn’t alone and various critters were poured into the container.

Accompanied by the likes of spiders and snakes in the various boxes, Dean struggled to win any stars. He then bailed out early when he felt fish guts being poured into one of the boxes, although he was disappointed when he realised it was only guts and nothing more sinister.

But as he’d uttered the phrase “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” Ant and Dec had to remove him from the trial. He won a total of four stars for camp. Fans were left annoyed by the trial, stating that the show was “getting boring” and it was time to vote for someone new.

They go on to experience it, not sit on their arses.” @jaywhite_1 added: “Getting boring now. It’s turned into the Dean McCullough show. Producers need to mix it up.”

Many fans called for people to stop voting for Dean to do trials. @Charlotte_x91 said: “CAN WE AS A NATION NOT VOTE FOR DEAN. PLEASE. I want to see the others personalities when facing their ‘fears!’” @stakemyheart666 said:” Please I beg those who vote not to choose Dean again” @hollycarruthers added: “I really hope people don’t vote him in.”
