Marvin Humes says 'I can safely say' as he addresses expanding family with wife Rochelle

by · Manchester Evening News

Marvin Humes has opened up about family life with wife Rochelle as he was quizzed on whether they'll expand their brood. The couple have been together for 15 years and married for 12 having tied the knot at Blenheim Palace in 2012.

They have since renewed their wedding vows on their 10th wedding anniversary in a stunning Italian celebration in 2022 and in those years together have welcomed three adorable children into world - daughters Alaia-Mai and Valentina, and son Blake.

But some may know that their history goes back much further than they even realised as last this month, they both re-shared a post from the time they appeared on the same children's show, Smile, which Rochelle hosted in her first presenting role between 2005 and 2006 following the end of S Club Juniors which she was a part of with Loose Women star Frankie Bridge.

Resharing the clip of their TV moment together to his Instagram Story, Marvin, 39, wrote: "Wow... I don't even remember this! @rochellehumes," adding a mind blown emoji. Meanwhile, Rochelle said in her own post: "Wayy before we knew what was in store.." alongside a face holding back tears emoji.

Now, Marvin has been quizzed about life for the Humes', telling OK Magazine: "They’re amazing, thank you. We’re super proud parents and we’re lucky to have three wonderful children."

After recently celebrating their youngest child's fourth birthday, I can safely say we’re done. As I said, we’re very lucky that we’ve been very blessed with three beautiful children. We are at the point now where we can leave the house with just the children, nothing else – no buggies, no bags, no this, no that.

It comes after Rochelle as admitted her "world would fall apart" while discussing the possibility of more children with Marvin. The This Morning star confessed she will "always be broody" but is hesitant of expanding their family anymore and feels "really sad" every year when she realises the children are growing up.

Speaking to Closer, she said: "If you asked me, I’d say I want children forever, because I get really sad every year that they grow up. Three we can handle, but if we chucked a fourth one in there, I don’t know, the world would fall apart a little bit. I will always be broody, so I can’t be the one to make that decision."
