ITV I'm A Celebrity's Danny Jones offers major 'king' update after fans spot son 'living his best life' after win
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsDanny Jones has offered a major update after gaining king of the jungle status on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. The McFly star was crowned winner of the ITV reality show's 2024 series earlier this month.
He made it to the final three alongside TV personality Coleen Rooney, who finished runner-up, and third place star Reverend Richard Coles before he was confirmed to have followed in his McFly bandmate Dougie Poytner's footsteps by being crowned the king of the jungle.
The 38-year-old has since described himself as having a 'crazy year', after also winning The Masked Singer and being the joint-winning coach on The Voice UK, as he admitted that he had planned to take six months off to move house ahead of his tour next year, but that he could not turn down I’m A Celeb when the opportunity presented itself.
While he didn't get the six months off he had planned, Danny has been seen enjoying some additional time in Australia alongside his wife Georgia, their son Cooper, and his mum Kathy.
Over the weekend, Bolton-born Danny revealed it wasn't quite the time they expected it to be as he shared a video of himself and his mum singing as they took cover by the pool as the rain poured down. "Go to Australia they said… " he joked.
But the singer and musician will soon be back in the UK as he revealed he was heading home. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (December 17), he shared a video to his Instagram Story in which he spoke to the camera and said: "Last day in Oz. It's been awesome."
He added: "It's been an experience and I'm coming home as the king!" Danny then repeated his king title in a musical manner before the video clip came to an end.

It comes after Danny shared photos of himself and his six-year-old son Cooper enjoying their time in Australia together as they beamed for a photo as they laid back on the golden sandy beach with crowns imprinted in the sand above their heads. "The King and The Prince," he captioned the post.
And fans were quick to respond. @_bemoredoggie said: "Cooper living his best life." @x_chloeh_x commented: "Beautiful pictures." @skye_martin2010 wrote: "Cutest thing everrr." @eellsspamss replied: "So adorable." @carolecairns posted: "The King & his prince, the cutest little duo ever!" @louiisaquinn added: "Awhhh the King and the Prince!
