Knee high boots are an autumn and winter fashion staple, but it can be surprisingly difficult to find boots that fit for those of with wider calves. Fortunately, we've spotted a pair at New Look that shoppers say are the 'perfect fit' for those who otherwise struggle zipping up knee high boots.

What's more, they are budget-friendly too. The Extra Calf Fit Black Leather-Look Buckled Knee-High Biker Boots cost £59.99 and are available in sizes three to nine, all of which are still in stock online.

The boots, which are a new arrival at the high street retailer, are guaranteed to become a cold weather go-to. Thy feature a block heel for stability and an adjustable buckle for comfort.

New Look's Extra Calf Fit Black Leather-Look Buckled Knee-High Biker Boots have been well received by fans, boasting an overall star-rating of 4.8 out of five. In the reviews, one shopper said: "Perfect boots. These are such good quality and the price is very fair, so happy."

A second wrote: "Brilliant for larger calves. I always struggled to find boots that zip up at my calves as I do not have much definition in my calves (I get called cankles) so I was over the moon when I was able to zip these up with an additional bit of breathing room. Super comfy too."

However, one shopper docked the Extra Calf Fit Black Leather-Look Buckled Knee-High Biker Boots a star because they are 'a little bit difficult to get into', which maybe something to keep in mind. They said: "These are excellent boots for wider calves, mine measure 44cm and I can get them done up.

"I also have a high instep so they are a little difficult get my foot in but they are stretching a tiny bit every time I wear them. Overall I am quite pleased with them. The quality is ok, but I don't think they will last more than a winter or two."
