BBC EastEnders fans sickened as villain Nish Panesar 'reaches new low' in chilling twist
by Joe Crutchley · Manchester Evening NewsEastEnders fans were left livid over Nish Panesar ‘reaching a new low’ on the BBC soap.
The soap bad guy, played by Navin Chowdhry, made his Walford debut in 2022 playing the nasty businessman. As the patriarch of the Panesar clan, Nish has become one of the soap’s biggest villains.
From attempted murder to abusing his wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal) his time in Walford has not been short of drama. Especially at the moment, as this week, he made a shock return to screens.
As fans will recall, last month Nish took the wrap for the murder of Keanu Taylor - who was actually killed by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright). His murder was covered up by several Walford ladies - including Nish’s estranged ex Suki.
After finding out the truth, a dying Nish told Suki he would confess to the murder - but only if she promised not to marry the love of her life Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
Suki agreed to not marry Eve; however this week, she rekindled things with Eve and Nish soon heard all about it. During Tuesday’s episode (December 3) he was summoned to his deathbed, after being told he had less than 24 hours to live.
During a tense showdown between Suki and Nish though, the villain dropped a major bombshell that he was responsible for the attack on Eve’s mum.

Back in October, Eve was left shaken when she was informed that her 80-year-old mum had been mugged while out shopping and was in hospital. Now the truth has been revealed the attack was down to Nish and his jealousy.
Fans were quick to react to Nish’s bombshell. On an EastEnders Facebook fan page, one person said: “I love to hate Nish but I’m getting tired of this storyline now.”
Someone else wrote: “I can’t believe he was the one responsible for Eve’s mother getting attacked”. A third penned: “I know he’s fully reached a new low.” Another said: “He’s disgusting, I just want him killed off now!”
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
