BBC EastEnders pulled from schedules tonight and replaced by another huge show
by Jasmine Allday · Manchester Evening NewsEastEnders will not air this evening in a schedule shake-up on the BBC.
The BBC soap aired a very dramatic episode last night that saw Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) see what her life would be like if she continued drinking. In harrowing scenes, she watched her death play out in front of her eyes.
However, fans hoping to tune in to the show tonight on TV will be disappointed as there is no episode on TV this evening. Instead, it will be replaced by coverage of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards.
Whilst no EastEnders will air tonight, it will air on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7.30pm. The missing episode from Tuesday will air tomorrow night, thus pushing back the fourth episode of the week to Friday night.

However, if fans are eager to tune in to see what happens next, Wednesday's edition of EastEnders is already up on BBC iPlayer, and the other episodes will air Wednesday morning at 6am and Thursday morning at 6am, respectively.
There was a huge format change on EastEnders' Monday episode this week, as Linda continued to struggle. Following the events of last Christmas and the guilt she has carried, Linda turned to alcohol as a means of coping.
Fans were led to believe that Linda had died in shocking scenes when she was seen vomiting blood and taking her last breath on a bench in the Square. Things then fast-forwarded to Linda's funeral, where she 'watched on' as her family mourned her death.

Danny Hatchard and Maddy Hill played Lee and Nancy Carter, who desperately tried to help their brother Johnny Carter (played by Charlie Suff) cope with their loss. Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) struggled with what happened to her daughter.
Nancy was adamant she wanted to take custody of Linda's children, Ollie and Annie, when things suddenly returned to Albert Square, and Linda decided she needed to stop drinking and go to rehab to be there for her family.
This Christmas on EastEnders, Cindy Beale's affair with her ex's son Junior will all be revealed spectacularly as part of a very special Christmas Day double bill for the BBC soap.
*EastEnders will be back on air Wednesday evening at 7.30pm on BBC One, and is available now on BBC iPlayer.
