BBC Strictly Come Dancing's JB Gill says 'big news incoming' as he teases surprise 'reveal' ahead of live show
by Phoebe Jobling · Manchester Evening NewsStrictly Come Dancing's JB Gill has told his fans that there is 'big news incoming' as he teased a countdown to a 'reveal'. It comes as the JLS star is set to perform with a different professional dancer on the BBC dance contest this weekend in Amy Dowden's absence.
JB and Amy were awarded a score of 32 for their Foxtrot to Dancing In The Moonlight by Toploader last Saturday (October 26) as part of Halloween Week, and were saved by the public to compete in week 7.
However things took a turn after their performance when Amy was rushed to hospital after she allegedly 'collapsed' backstage. Although she is now said to be doing much better, Strictly bosses have said that fellow pro dancer Lauren Oakley will be stepping in this week.

A Strictly Come Dancing spokesperson said: "Amy Dowden MBE is doing much better and the 'Strictly' family send her love and wish her well.
"She is delighted that fellow professional dancer, Lauren Oakley, is able to step in for rehearsals and to perform in Saturday’s show for JB Gill’s couple’s choice dance. We are all hopeful that Amy will be back to dance with JB next week."
JB and Lauren are set to perform a Couple's Choice dance to a Bruno Mars medley during Icons Week this coming weekend (November 2).
Ahead of his performing, the singer, 37, teased on Friday (November 1) that he had 'big news incoming' for his fans. JB shared a picture to his Instagram story, which saw him and his wife Chloe Tangney and their two children Ace and Chiara staring into a cardboard box with shocked faces.

Alongside the photo shared with his 200,000 Instagram followers, the star attached a countdown to 'the big reveal', which is due to be announced around 7:30pm.
Earlier this week, JB's fellow JLS star, Aston Merrygold, said that he wants his bandmate to show "more personality" in the coming weeks. Aston, who competed in the BBC show himself with professional Janette Manrara in 2017, insisted that JB has only just "scratched the surface" of what he can actually do.
Aston said: "I think JB is doing amazing, he should just continue what he's doing. I think for J now, he just needs to bring out the personality a bit more. I think we've just scratched the surface of JB and what he can actually do so I'm looking forward to these next few weeks.
"In that show, everyone goes into it - whether you're a performer or not - no one is a Ballroom and Latin dancer so JB can go 'Okay, I can have some fun with this'.
"I think having to switch partners at the last minute, that whole thing is obviously gonna play a massive part and pressure so I'm sending lots of love to Amy as well."
