BBC Strictly Come Dancing's JB Gill teases 'the real tea' from Blackpool weekend as wife joins rehearsals
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsJB Gill has hilariously teased 'the real tea' from Strictly Come Dancing's Blackpool special as he shared a new video showing his wife joining him and dance partner Lauren Oakley in rehearsals.
The JLS star and Lauren, who replaced Amy Dowden after she had to heartbreakingly exit the competition due to a foot injury, were among the eight remaining couples to perform in the town's iconic Tower Ballroom during its annual special.
JB's bandmates were seen offering him encouragement, before he danced in Blackpool during the show's annual special on Saturday night (November 16), at a rehearsal session with Lauren before he was seen taking to the floor to perform in front of his mum for the first time after an operation delayed her being able to attend the live shows.

JB and Lauren were flooded with praise over their quickstep routine to Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley with judge Anton Du Beke praising JB for his "great control, lovely technique".
However, he did criticise his head position while head judge Shirley Ballas told the singer and TV star that there is "so much to like with you", and the "sky’s the limit" if he managed to get his positioning correct in his upcoming performances, before he and Lauren received 35 points.
It was later confirmed during Sunday night's (November 17) results show that JB and Lauren had made it through to week ten of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series and the pair will be performing a Charleston to Yes Sir! That’s My Baby by Firehouse Five Plus Twoon Saturday (November 23).

But while the pair have been in training, they couldn't help but share a hilarious video alongside JB's wife Chloe. The trained dancer appeared in the rehearsals room holding onto swimming noodles which she dropped as she rushed over to sit down with JB and Lauren before the gossiping began, all in jest.
Captioning the post, JB wrote: "Back in rehearsals, spilling ALL the tea from Blackpool." Chloe was quick to respond, writing in the comments: "Naaaaa @laurenmayoakley the fact that we had real tears doing this!! too funny." Lauren replied, saying: "hahahaha too funny," before JB added: "Tea before the REAL tea," alongside the eyes emoji and a grinning face emoji.
