Ben Fogle, 51, is a well-known face on British television, presenting wildlife-themed programmes across BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. His recent work includes Channel 5's Ben Fogle and the Buried City, Endurance: Race to the Pole and Into the Congo with Ben Fogle.

Fogle first came into the public eye after his participation in the BBC reality show Castaway 2000, which involved 36 individuals attempting to build a self-sufficient community on the Scottish island of Taransay over the course of a year.

Born to actress Julia Foster and veterinarian Bruce Fogle, Ben was privately educated at the Hall School in Hampstead, London and Bryanston School in Dorset.

During his gap years, he travelled to Ecuador to teach English at an orphanage and worked on a turtle conservation project on the Mosquito Coast of Honduras and Nicaragua. He later studied Latin American studies at the University of Portugal before moving on to the University of Costa Rica.

Away from his TV career, Fogle leads a quiet life with his wife Marina and their two children, Ludovic and Iona. The family are believed to reside near the village of Fawley, located on the border between Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, reports the Express.

This location is just a few miles from Henley-on-Thames, previously named by The Times and The Telegraph as one of the best places to live in the English countryside.

The Countryfile presenter has made a home for himself and his family in the charms of the countryside, complete with family pets including dogs and horses.

In a chat with Metro earlier this year, he shared details about their quaint lifestyle: "We live in an old flint cottage in Oxfordshire. It is in a rural setting surrounded by woodland, fields and nature."

Delving into the wildlife that frequents their property, he mentioned, "We have plenty of deer that like to eat our roses, moles that dig up the lawn and even a wild population of wallabies that bounce into our garden and chase the dogs, but we love it."

Not far from his abode lies Fawley Court, an exquisite example of Neoclassical architecture erected between the 17th and 18th centuries.

This Grade I-listed residence, crafted by the legendary Sir Christopher Wren and graced by Capability Brown's landscaping, once boasted a vast deer park, stretching into Henley Park.

Adding to Fawley's historic allure is St Mary's Church, its roots stretching back to the 12th century. The ecclesiastic site houses two mausolea, with one dating to 1752 and the other to 1862.

Fogle also holds the keys to a property in West London, which currently serves as a rental option. As per reports by MailOnline, the £2.7million five-bedroom home hit the rental market asking for an impressive £26,000 a month.

Situated a stone's throw from Henley-on-Thames - one of Oxfordshire's pricier locales - real estate in Fawley doesn't come without a significant price tag.

According to Rightmove, the average sale price for properties in Fawley towers at approximately £2,610,000 over the last year.

Over the past year, most of the properties sold in Fawley were detached houses, fetching an average price of £4,310,000. Semi-detached homes went for an average of £910,000.
