Inside Lucas Bravo's life off-screen with famous father as he leads Prime Video's Freedom
by Katie Palmer · Manchester Evening NewsA new romantic film, Freedom, has been released on Prime Video, inspired by the real-life story of infamous French gangster Bruno Sulak.
Set in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the movie stars Lucas Bravo as Sulak, a charismatic thief who masterminded daring heists without drawing attention to himself. Born in Nice, 36-year-old Bravo is the son of former French footballer Daniel Bravo and singer Eva Bravo.
Daniel, 61, had a distinguished career as a midfielder, playing 217 matches for Paris Saint-Germain and winning the UEFA European Championship with France in 1984.
In an interview with French magazine Causerie, Lucas discussed growing up with famous parents and how they encouraged him to be independent. He revealed: "Contrary to what most people think, my dad has always let me fend for myself. Even financially, he always told me to work."

"I've had jobs in every sector I was a waiter, I was the guy who gets ignored all day in front of the Champs-Elysees Gap store during the Christmas period."
"This really teaches you the value of things."
Lucas began his acting career with a role in Sous le soleil de Saint Tropez in 2013 and has since appeared alongside Lily Collins in the Netflix series Emily in Paris, playing her love interest, Gabriel, since 2020. He recently shared his thoughts on bringing more depth to his career, leading fans to speculate that he might be considering an exit from Emily in Paris.
Speaking to Le Figaro, he said: "Emily in Paris brought me a snowball effect that allowed me to meet certain people, to try to set up something lasting."

"It's good entertainment, an escape. But I feel the need to raise awareness a little about what I'm talking about."
When questioned about his potential participation in another season, he responded: "It will depend on the script because I think I've covered everything a bit."
"I don't really have any freedom and, as I'm starting to be given some elsewhere, I'm getting a taste for it. Life is short."
"The filming of this series lasts five months. Do I want to sacrifice them to tell something that doesn't stimulate me?".
Freedom is now available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video.
