EastEnders fans 'convinced' Linda Carter's dad is set to arrive after spotting 'clue'
by Angie Quinn · Manchester Evening NewsEastEnders is set to hear the sound of wedding bells in the near future as Elaine Peacock (played by Harriet Thorpe) and George Knight (Colin Salmon) look forward to their nuptials, but will the celebration see the return of an ex-partner?
During Thursday's trip to Albert Square (November 14), the wedding planning began to ramp up at The Queen Vic as Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) was put in charge of the hen do. Meanwhile, Elaine tried to persuade her groom George to ask Junior (Micah Balfour) to be his best man.
Fearing his son would reject the invitation, George couldn't find the courage to do it, and instead asked Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to do the honour. But Phil soon realised George was hiding his true feeling about his son Junior taking on the role.

While George tried to secure a best man, Johnny and Anna (Molly Rainford) arranged the entertainment for Elaine's hen. "Elaine has been moaning about the entertainment again," Anna told Johnny.
"She loves a drag queen," he replied and handed her a piece of paper. "Drew Peacock", Anna inquired. Johnny started laughing, and said: "It will be good for her to know she's not the only drag queen called Peacock in town!"
However, the name Drew Peacock has sparked speculation among EastEnders fans who are suggesting the mystery drag queen could be the real dad of Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), as her mum Elaine prepares to remarry.
Taking to X, one viewer wrote: "So this drag queen is called drew peacock and elaine is called elaine peacock… what’s actually gone on for her to freak out next week then? #EastEnders."

A third chimed in: "So the drag queen for George & Elaine's hen do is called Drew Peacock and Elaine is Elaine Peacock.....we know Elaine freaks out over the drag queen next week and Linda learns a secret about her parents....what's going on?? #EastEnders."
"Imagine if Drew was Linda’s dad’s name or do we know her dad’s name?" added another while one viewer suggested: "Drag queen. Drew Peacock!?! Why aren't they asking Felix?? #Eastenders."
