Josie Gibson set to host new Channel 4 show after This Morning break
by Jasmine Allday · Manchester Evening NewsJosie Gibson is set to return to Channel 4 with her own TV programme.
The This Morning presenter began shaping her hosting career in the wake of Philip Schofield's departure from the show, which led ITV to introduce a rotation of presenters, including Josie. Coupled with her popularity surge following a stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, Josie has won the hearts of fans nationwide.
Against this backdrop, the news of Josie being chosen to present the Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide should hardly come as a surprise. Alongside a myriad of familiar faces, mixologists, financial advisors, and tech experts, the mother of one will dissect this season's Christmas gift ideas suitable for every pocket.
The team will also share expert advice for saving money and time while unveiling this year's most sought-after products, in a collaboration with Smyths Toys Superstores.

Divided into two engaging segments, Josie said to The Sun of the show: "I love Christmas, so hopefully this show will help take out some of the stress. There'll be festive laughs and great guests."
Earlier in September, it was announced that Josie would be taking a break from her role on This Morning due to this new presenting opportunity, reports the Mirror.
The television personality is venturing into the world of opulent travel, delving into the realms of first class flights, upscale hotels, and premium airline seats. Speaking to Express.co.uk about the series, she shared: "I've got loads of things in the pipeline, I'm still very involved with This Morning, I'm very grateful for This Morning and everything they've helped me with because they grew me as a presenter. I should be around at Christmas on the [This Morning] sofa, so then I will get back on the road and try to make it all work as much as I can. It is going to be amazing because I'm going to be exploring how the other half live, like the first class travel.

"You know when you walk through the airplane and you think, I wonder what is that way? I'm going to be seeing all the stuff that is the other way. I love that I can still experience things like that and it absolutely shocks me."
Adding a touch of humour, she remarked: "It's a tough gig, but someone's got to do it. I'm so happy that they've asked me, I'm really happy! We've got quite a few destinations to go to, so yeah we start filming this week."
As anticipation builds for the new season of I'm A Celebrity, Josie has hinted at the challenges, confirming that the show is indeed as tough as it appears.
She told OK!: "Yes! I'm not going to sugarcoat it, it's really hard and it takes you places, mentally and physically, that you didn't think you were going to go to. I really thought there'd be some element of a "studio" to the camp, but there really isn't. It's an actual jungle and there's nowhere to hide. Viewers see every single version of someone."
