Debenhams slashes £150 padded longline winter coat similar to £350 Lululemon puffer to £60

Now that the cold weather has set in for the foreseeable future, many fashion fans will be on the hunt for a coat that keeps them warm and dry while remaining chic and stylish. We've scoured the internet and found a piece at Debenhams that not only ticks all the boxes weather wise, but takes inspiration from a designer version without having to pay a luxury RRP.

Right now, Debenhams is offering 60% off the Stephie Stitch Detail Padded Coat from Monsoon. It typically retails for £150 but shoppers can snag it for £60, offering a whopping total saving of £90.

What's more, it is a great alternative to a puffer coat from Lululemon that costs an eyewatering £348. That makes the Debenhams version £288 cheaper than the high-end counterpart.

The two coats, while not 100% identical to each other, share a lot of similarities. They are both crafted from a padded black shell fabric in a longline style with long sleeves and a hood to protect against the elements.

The two coats differ slightly as £60 version features an elegant button up design whereas the £350 version has a zip. The Debenhams piece comes in small to extra large but if you want it, it's worth checking out fast as the jacket is likely to sell out.

Thanks to its fabric composition and length, the jacket is ideal for wearing when the weather isn't so pleasant, which is pretty often thanks to the miserable British autumn and winter.. While the Stephie Stitch Detail Padded Coat doesn't have any reviews at Debenhams, it has nine five-star ratings over on the Monsoon website where it's available for £105. One shopper said: "Beautiful coat, I had it at a fraction of the cost, a fantastic bargain I love it."

A second wrote: "It's very comfortable. It's padded, wonderful and very warm especially for winter. Best thing to buy." Somebody else mentioned: "Absolutely delighted with this coat. Very good quality, perfect fit."

However, one person gave the Stephie Stitch Detail Padded Coat a three-star review, hailing it as 'too big'. They said: "Fitted on the shoulders but too big on the bust. Returned it."

But another loved their latest purchase, adding: "I love, love, love this coat. It's like going out in a duvet. It's so warm and cosy, looks good with boots and jeans but smart enough to go over dresses."
