BBC EastEnders fans 'work out' new romance for Ravi Gulati - and it's not Denise Fox

EastEnders viewers are convinced Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is about to embark on a new romance with Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) after the pair met for the first time.

During the latest trip to Walford (November 28), Nicola was keen to get Peggy's up and running after buying the club from Phil Mitchell (Steve Mitchell) to get under the nose of her ex-husband Teddy (Roland Manookian).

Brash Nicola asked her son, and now business partner, Harry (Elijah Holloway), to find her new security following the club crush which nearly killed a handful of people.

Meanwhile, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) was left apologising to Ravi after Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) shared an embarrassing photo of them together to social media from the wedding reception the night before.

Ravi seemed unphased by Denise's words as the pair could sense chemistry between them despite him previously dating her daughter.

While Ravi enjoyed a drink in The Vic, he was soon approached by Nicola who threatened him after he dangled her son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) from a railway bridge.

Harry was left squirming when Nicola sent him home as she demanded Ravi shared a drink with her, as Denise watched on.

Is Nicola trying to romance Ravi or is she exploiting the rivalry between the Panesar and Mitchell families?

Taking to X, EastEnders viewer predicted a new romance between Nicola and Ravi with one speculated: "Ravi’s quite taken by Nicola. She likes a gym bunny; he likes an older lady… #EastEnders."

A second joked: "Nicola and Ravi could be about to get it on!", while a third chimed in: "Nicola going over to speak to Ravi and Denise looking on #EastEnders."

"Careful Ravi Nicola has claws!!!!", added another.
