Emmerdale Will's secret caller 'revealed' as returning legend - and Kim will be shocked
by Joe Crutchley · Manchester Evening NewsEmmerdale fans believe they've cracked the case on who Will Taylor was secretly phoning and it appears a legendary figure from the Dales is making a comeback.
Will, portrayed by Dean Andrews, has been at the centre of turmoil following his marriage woes with Kim Tate, played by Claire King. Audiences will remember that earlier this year, Will betrayed Kim by having an affair with his former flame Rose, acted by Christine Tremarco.
Subsequently, Will found himself being extorted by an enigmatic individual, only for the blackmailer to be unveiled as Kim herself, who was fully aware of his deceit. This led to a series of vicious exchanges as each tried to outmanoeuvre the other.
Kim was resolute in keeping her wealth and estate away from Will's grasp. However, recent episodes have hinted at a possible rekindling between the two, particularly after the death of Zak Dingle, portrayed by Steve Halliwell.

In a heart-to-heart with Lydia Dingle, played by Karen Blick, Kim disclosed her mixed emotions, confessing that her quest for vengeance didn't bring her the satisfaction she anticipated. Yet, it seems the saga involving Kim and Will is far from concluded, reports Leeds Live.
In the episode aired on Monday (November 20), Will paid a visit to his daughter Dawn, played by Olivia Bromley, discussing her issues with Billy, portrayed by Jay Kontzle. Following this, Will was seen making a cryptic phone call, stating: "You were supposed to call me, to let me know I got everything I needed."
Now, fans are convinced they've identified the person on the other end of Will's call and they're suggesting it could be either Joe, played by Ned Porteous, or Jamie, played by Alexander Lincoln, both of whom are past characters from the show.

Another fan responded enthusiastically to the possibility: "Either of them would be MASSIVE!"

Joe Tate, who was part of the "Emmerdale" cast between 2017 and 2018, was believed to have been killed off in 2018, but it was later disclosed that instead, he had escaped overseas after his plan to get revenge on Charity Dingle fell through.
Kim's son Jamie, meanwhile, was last seen in 2021 when he staged his death in a car accident. While Kim was convinced he was dead, Jamie secretly moved to live with his daughter Millie and her grandmother.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
