Danny Jones' wife has claimed he 'lied' to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here producers ahead of going into the jungle. The McFly star is among the 12 famous faces currently Down Under taking part in the ITV reality show.

As he made his debut earlier this month, Danny was quickly named the 'winner' of the whole 2024 series and more than a week on, he's still among the favourites to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle this year.

But now, Danny's wife Georgia has revealed her other half purposely lied to ITV producers over his supposed fear of snakes ahead of entering the jungle.

Speaking with Hannah Cooper on the Never Have I Ever podcast, Georgia claimed that Danny told producer he was afraid of snakes before entering the jungle, something she calls "bulls***."

"The only problem with Danny is he's not great when he's hungry or tired, and he's going to be hungry and tired,” she says. “And he's lied, and he said he's scared of snakes. Bulls***. World exclusive: bulls***. So, everyone vote for the tasks that don't involve snakes, please!”

As Georgia and Hannah dissected Danny’s fibbing, the pair conclude that the singer has cleverly tried to outfox producers, double bluffing them and viewers into believing he’s afraid of something he’s not. “He’s not scared of snakes, but he said he is – that’s a double bluff," Georgia said. "So, he's now going to get tasks with snakes… I think they think Danny's a really genuine guy!" Hannah added.

Georgia also revealed she had hard time picking out Danny’s luxury items for the show, and is certain she hasn’t chosen what Danny would have picked out himself – mouth tape! "Because if I tell you this, this man has never fussed so much over the fact that he can't tape his mouth in the jungle," she said.

She went on to reveal: "He tapes his mouth at night. He tapes his mouth. It’s meant to have many, many health benefits… It’s literally like a piece of gaffer tape. It's like a massive plaster of your lips."
