BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say same thing after Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas exit competition
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsStrictly Come Dancing fans expressed their shock at Jamie Borthwick's exit from the competition and were left saying the same thing about his time on the show with Michelle Tsiakkas.
Viewers saw the pair back in the ballroom on Saturday night (November 23). They had their own tough act to follow after Jamie made his way onto the Tower Ballroom floor riding a giant sparkly ketchup bottle last weekend during the show's annual Blackpool special.
But moving on and during week ten of the BBC One dance contest, Jamie performed a graceful foxtrot to Stand By Me by Ben E King which saw him and Michelle twirl and glide across the dancefloor before being awarded a score of 32 points out of a possible 40 from the judges.

However, during Sunday night's (November 24) results show, Jamie and Michelle were left under the dreaded red light as they landed in the dance-off against Olympian Montell Douglas and her partner Johannes Radebe, who had to fight for their place in this year's competition for a second week in a row.
The dance-off saw Jamie and Michelle reprise their foxtrot before Montell and Johannes performed their quickstep to Get Happy by Ella Fitzgerald again in a bid to impress the judges.
After both couples had danced a second time, the judges unanimously agreed to save Montell and Johannes, sending Jamie, who won Strictly's Christmas special last year with pro dancer Nancy Xu, and Michelle home.

And it's fair to say Strictly fans were outraged by the decision after saying Jamie had been subject to what the claim to be 'harsh' feedback during his time competing in Strictly's 20th-anniversary series.
@RyanTheSoapking said: "Now I'm really shocked at this result. No way should Jamie have left at this stage. The judges constantly marked him down every week and his Foxtrot was brilliant last night. Why is Pete still here? Jamie had the potential to be a finalist."
@slinehan1 commented: "OH HELL NO!! Jamie and Montell are both better than Pete and Chris. It's beyond a joke now. Jamie could've easily been in the final." @s_ffron7 wrote: "Woah! Thought he’d be a finalist!" @LauraLouiseBowa posted: "I really thought Jamie would make the final Judges have been hard on Jamie, and you can clearly see Shirley has a soft spot for Pete which is clouding her judgement."
