What time is BBC Children In Need 2024 on TV tonight?

Every year, the BBC puts together a TV telethon consisting of music, entertainment and comedy sketches which gets broadcast live to homes around the country.
Hosts for this year’s appeal show includes Vernon Kay, Ade Adepitan, Rochelle Humes plus other big names.

BBC has announced a wonderful schedule for the three hour telethon including a Doctor Who special, a performance from the iconic Girls Aloud with a new version of a hit song, a Strictly Come Dancing performance plus more entertaining events.
For the first time ever, the annual BBC Children in Need Choir will feature children who’ve been supported by BBC Children in Need funded projects. They’ll come together in the studio to sing the Take That classic Never Forget.
Paddy McGuinness has been taking part in an UItra Endurance Cycle challenge to raise money for Children in Need and you can track his progress. There will be a big announcement on the night to reveal how much money he has raised for the wonderful cause.
The money raised in the annual fundraiser gets invested into supporting children’s mental health and emotional well being, and providing resources for children with physical disabilities or health issues among other applications.
And the fundraising doesn’t begin or end with BBC’s TV event. Many organisations across the UK take part in charity events in the run up to Children in Need such as sponsored bake sales or fancy dress days.
The Children in Need mascot Pudsey Bear returns again with his polka dot bandana. He has been a crucial part of Children in Need since 1985.
