BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks issues Jowita Przystal refusal after 'apparently' response to Musicals Week
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsPete Wicks issued a clear refusal to Jowita Przystal as she suggested a way to get him in the mood for Strictly Come Dancing's Musicals Week.
Last weekend, reality star and podcast host Pete kicked off the latest live show with an elegant tango. Dressed in an all-black suit, the former TOWIE star guided and dipped his professional partner Jowita across the dancefloor to Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins.
The performance landed them a score of 29 out of a possible 40 points from the judges and it was then on Sunday night (November 24) during the latest results show that it was confirmed Pete and Jowita had made it through to the quarter-final of Strictly's 2024 series.

Jowita revealed during the results show tha the pair would be dancing to a song from West Side Story for Musicals Week, to which Pete replied: "What's that?"
As he headed into rehearsals, it was confirmed the song he and Jowita will be performing to from West Side Story will be Somewhere. Resharing the news from Strictly's Instagram account, Pete joked on his Instagram Story: "I'm a bloke called Tony this week, apparently."
And it seems Jowita isn't having too much luck in getting him interested in the musicals they'll be representing this Saturday night (November 30). In a new video shared to Jowita's Instagram Story, the pair could be seen finishing up a day of rehearsals.

"I'm tired," Pete admitted as the video began to which Jowita echoed: "Pete is very tired..." Jowita went on to say that she and Pete would be on ITV's Lorraine on Thursday (November 28) before heading back into training before they head back into the studio to practice in the ballroom before the next live show.
"Also, I wanted to fit in movie time, to watch West Side Story together," Jowita commented but Pete replied: "Yeah, unfortunatley that's not going to happen. As you can see from my hair, it looks like it's been washed in a deep-fat fryer so when you think I'll watch that I'll be washing my hair."
He then rounded off by saying: "Thank you, goodnigh," before getting up an walking away from Jowita who asked: "Where are you going?" to which he dead-pan replied: "Home!"
