by · Manchester Evening News

Stacey Solomon has shared with fans her 'comfort place' after speaking out of her realtionship with Joe Swash. The Loose Women star hasn't been keeping fans as up to date as she normally would with her professional and personal life.

And it seems that's because she's holding down the fort at home while Joe Swash works on his next big project. Taking to her Instagram platform earlier this week, Stacey spoke directly to her large online following while getting dressed for an important awards ceremony.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Monday (November 25), Stacey was in a rush as she was heading to the 2024 Beauty Awards. Having been doing some work for the next series of her hit BBC One show, Sort Your Life Out, the mum-of-five was seen doing a quick change.

As she switched from her grey sweatshirt into a cream tweed dress, which boasted eye-catching buttons on the blazer top and a ruffled mini skirt which she paired with black tights and a matching cream pair of shoes.

Speaking to the camera as she got changed, Stacey said: "I just wanted to come on here quickly and say hi. I feel like I've been so rubbish on here lately because it's that time of year when loads is happening... I've just finished all of my voiceovers for Sort Your Life and now I'm late for the Beauty Awards with the girls at REHAB...

"We're up for awards and I don't want to let them down." She went on to share: "I just thought I'd say hello, I hope you're ok! Sorry if I've just been a bit sporadic and rubbish."

Stacey's since returned to social media and after spending the day getting her Pickle Cottage home, in Essex, in order, she shared a sweet video of herself and two youngest children - daughter Rose and Belle - outside watching the sun set. Joining by the family's dogs, the TV star admitted: "The sunset tonight was so pretty.

"I do love to sit on a coat on the grass and watch the snsets whenever I'm home for it. Belle loves to look for planes and Rose love to do my hair [crying laughing emoji]. Don't know why but this is like my comfort place," adding a white heart emoji.

It comes after Stacey joked that she has been 'estranged' from husband Joe as his busy work schedule keeps him away from home. She addressed her relationship with the former EastEnders star in a video on social media. She filmed herself and Joe relaxing on the sofa as she said: "Home sweet home with my husband who has been estranged."

She laughed as he interjected: "I've had to leave the real world to join the Panto world." Former I'm A Celebrity and Dancing on Ice winner Joe will star in Beauty and the Beast this pantomime season at The Grove in Dunstable and has been brought in to play the 'Buttons'-style character to provide some comic relief.

Stacey, 35, continued with pride: "He's doing panto this year whicht he kids are so excited about. I can't wait to see their faces.... But what that means is he's in rehearsals now every day until he starts then he doesn't finish until the 7th of Jan. So between the hours of 6 in the morning when he leaves and 8pm at night when he gets back, we don't get to see him."

Joe then said: "But don't worry, mate. I'll come home in my costume one night and surprise you!" Stacey didn't seem impressed as she replied: "Well we're going to come and see you in your costume," to which Joe said: "I'll bring it home just for you." But Stacey wasn't feeling his same vibe as she said: "Well you character is Phillipe Flop, so what are you? A giant flip-flop? If you think that's going to turn me on, your wrong!"
