BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Jowita Przystal 'thrilled to announce' in move away from ballroom
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsJowita Przystal has said she was 'thrilled to announce' her latest news away from the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom - and it means more fans will get to see her dancing in action next year.
The professional dancer is currently busy preparing for the quarter-final of the BBC One dance contest. Jowita and her celebrity dance partner Pete Wicks made it through to week 11 of Strictly's 2024 series last weekend.
It came after Strictly fans saw former TOWIE star Pete kick off the latest live show last Saturday night (November 23) with an elegant tango. Dressed in an all-black suit, reality star and podcast host Pete guided and dipped his professional partner Jowita across the dancefloor to Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins.
The performance landed them a score of 29 out of a possible 40 points from the judges. It was then on Sunday night (November 24) during the latest results show that it was confirmed Pete and Jowita had made it through to the quarter-final of Strictly's 2024 series, which is the show's annual Musicals Week, and will see the pair perform to West Side Story.
But amidst working towards their next performance, Jowita had some of her own exciting news to share. She revealed that she'd be joining a number of her co-stars by joining Donahey's Dancing with the Stars experience.
Sharing the update to her Instagram Story, she said: "Exciting news! I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be joining Donahey's Dancing with the stars Experience in 2025. Get ready to dance, laugh, and make unforgettable memories with me at this incredible event. Imagine a weekend filled with glitz, glam, and all the ballroom sparkle you can imagine."
She added: "I can't wait to meet all of you and share the floor, whether you're taking your first steps or you're a seasoned dancer. It's going to be a weekend packed with energy, joy and of course plenty of Jive kicks and Salsa moves! Mark your calendars, book your tickets and let's make 2025 a year to remember together...."
