Pete Wicks has told how Sam Thompson doesn't 'cope well' with change as he's set to spent the next month in Australia. The reigning I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner has headed Down Under to co-host the show's new spin-off show.

I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked is the programme's first spin-off show in fours years and Sam, Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers are set to present it. Previosuly sharing his excitement at heading back to the jungle on Good Morning Britain, Sam, 32, said it was "a dream come true" to be back.

But speaking with Pete, who is competing in this year's Strictly Come Dancing, on their popular podcast Staying Relevant, Sam admitted he'd asked his doctor for sleeping pills to help combat the unusual working hours he'll face while in Australia.

In the latest episode of his Staying Relevant podcast, which was released after he headed on his long-haul flight on Saturday (November 9) to prepare for the I'm A Celeb 2024's launch this Sunday (November 17), he opened up on the issue.

He said: "The timings are quite awkward because obviously we are live in UK time. So we go to bed at 4pm every day in Australia and wake up at midnight. Which is going to be wild."

His podcast co-host and his best friend Pete agreed and added: "Yeah you're going to be all over the shop, and you don't cope well with change," as Sam agreed: "I really don't." Pete went on: "You don't cope well with change and what Sam said to me when he told me this last week is 'I've just been to the doctor and I've got 24 sleeping pills,'" to which Sam giggled and said: "Just in case."

Meanwhile, Sam has been opening up about who he thinks will be taking his crown and winning the popular Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly- fronted show this year.

The 32-year-old reality TV star triumphed in last year's 23rd season but ahead of this year's series, Sam has tipped one of the women in camp, who include TV personality Coleen Rooney, former 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Oti Mabuse and podcaster GK Barry, to be named Queen of the Jungle.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Who's gonna win? You can't ask me that! I have a top three who I think are going to win it, not who I want to win it. I will say this: I think this year there are a lot of strong women, really strong personalities which I think is going to be fascinating to watch. I think it will be a queen."
