ITV I'm A Celebrity's Ant McPartlin in Dean McCullough and GK Barry prediction as Dec Donnelly admits 'disappointment'
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsAnt McPartlin doesn't seem convinced that the next bushtucker trial in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here will go better than the last after Dean McCullough said those eight famous words.
During Tuesday night's (November 19) episode, it was the turn of Radio 1 star Dean to face the second trial of the ITV reality show's new series, 'The Sinister Sarcophagus'. It involved being locked inside a giant mummy figuring and having to answer a series of Egypt-related questions.
For each one he answered correctly, a star would be lowered down which he then had to release with his mouth. When entering the sarcophagus, the radio presenter said: "This is my worst nightmare because I can’t get out."

Dean managed to answer two questions, and managed to secure two stars, but it all got too much for him when giant mealworms and crickets were poured over his head. He then called out: "I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!" and the trial was over.
After crying and repeatedly apologising, he manage to have some banter with Ant and Dec. When the latter said: "See you tomorrow," Dean whipped his head around and said: "You won't see me tomorrow!" before the co-host explained he meant in the camp to reveal who would be doing the next trial.
And lo-and-behold, Dean was selected by viewers to take on the next trial, Drown in the Dumps, with GK Barry, who took on the first trial and earned nine out of ten stars earlier this week.

Appearing on spin-off show I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked after the main show, host Joel Dommett asked if it was "disappointing" to see Dean quit the trial t which both Ant and Dec immediately said yes. Dec then went on: "Yeah, it's because you are prepared for a whole trial and you want to see the whole thing.
"When it's that early it's like ugh, you're not going to get the full impact of the trial." Ant went on: "Well that's part of the reason why we kept asking the questions because we really enjoyed it."
Both hosts both then admitted they were unsure how the next trial would go. Dec said: "I am intrigued about how they are gonna [get on]. They're a pair of screamers... will we get through it? I don't know." Ant then added: "I don't know if they will I'm not sure," as he fears they might pull out.
