ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers fume 'get her out' after obvious Maura Higgins 'blame game'
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsI'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here viewers have demanded one of the female campmates leave the jungle after entering into a 'blame game' with Maura Higgins.
During the latest episode of the ITV reality show on Thursday night (November 28), BBC Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough, Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and McFly singer Danny Jones took on The Rank Bank Bushtucker Trial
Their fellow campmates were invited along to watch. Presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly explained: “Jungle life is about to get very expensive..." They added: "Everyday essentials in camp are going to cost you money and to pay for them you’ll have to use your jungle cash card. You’re going to be split into three teams."

The trio were the first members of the teams, with each having a different colour cash card. Dean, Jane Moore, Coleen Rooney and Melvin Odoom made up the pink team; Alan, Tulisa Contostavlos, Richard Coles and Barry formed the blue team; while Danny, Maurea Higgins, Oti Mabuse and GK Barry joined the orange team.
Dean, Alan and Danny were then tasked with earning money for their team’s cash card by completing four races, with the winner awarded 300 dollars, second place taking 200 dollars and third collecting 100 dollars if they completed the task within the time limit.
In the first race, the trio were asked to empty a deposit box filled with raw pig testicles; in the second, they had to battle to collect three coins from a box of fish guts; and for the third, they were tasked with squeezing the juice out of fish eyes into a shot glass.
For the first three races contestants were only allowed to use their mouths, but in the final task they had to put their hands into a hole filled with critters in order to unscrew three coins as quickly as possible. At the end of the trial, Halsall’s blue team finished with the most money with 1,100 dollars, while the pink and orange teams were tied on 500 dollars each.
Returning from the day’s trial, the campmates entered a new-look camp, complete with turnstiles to use the dunny, shower, pool and bath at $10 a visit, as well as a vending wall, depositing fresh filtered water and logs for the fire, for $10 each item. Plus, there was a treat machine where the campmates could buy extra treats for camp.

Meanwhile, Oti and Richard were unable to find the camp’s supply of rice and beans. As the camp then twigged the rice and the beans must have been taken out in the rubbish by Maura, Oti headed to go take a look at the bins. As Oti successfully retrieved the rice and beans, Maura told the Bush Telegraph: "I didn’t throw the rice and beans in the rubbish on purpose or anything, although that’s the place for them if I’m being honest! It was a complete accident."
But while Maura was blamed in camp, I'm A Celeb viewers fumed that it was actually Jane's fault. @Caz780477450492 said: "Jane was quick to blame Maura for dumping the food. Just like she blamed her for struggling in the trial when it was her skipping sections that cost stars. #ImACeleb." @HakunaTheFckNot wrote: "This is the second time Jane has made Maura take the blame. First the trial now the food in the rubbish bin. Get her out. #imaceleb."
@jareauzier commented: "Ok u can’t blame Maura. Jane literally told her to throw the bag out after handing it to her #ImaCeleb #imacelebrity." @slaymister5000 posted: "No way has Jane had Maura throw all the food away?!?! and Oti is blaming Maura #imaceleb." @DizzleC91 added: "It’s not Maura’s fault Jane literally told her to bin it #ImACeleb."

But according to the latest odds, Jane is favourite to leave the jungle first. Mike Reading, spokesperson at Betway, said: "I’m A Celebrity has already treated us to secret challenges and difficult Bushtucker Trials - including the famous eating challenge - and we're only half way through the second week.
"Despite Reverend Richard Coles making a late entrance in this year’s series, his quick humour, unlikely friendship with GK Barry and warming personality has made him a hit with viewers and punters alike and he is now the 7/2 second favourite to win! With Danny voted in as one of the new camp leaders, it’s clear that he is still winning the public’s hearts and therefore remains the favourite to be crowned King.
"Loose Women panellist, Jane Moore, is currently looking the least likely to win (200/1), after continuing to ruffle feathers amongst camp. However, this could all change as viewers tend to enjoy a bit of tension in camp, especially when hunger kicks in!"
