Coronation Street fans 'work out' Kit Green's next move as they 'confirm' he killed Joel Deering 

Coronation Street fans have 'worked out' what Kit Green is up to as they seemingly 'confirmed' he killed Joel Deering. The detective constable is currently leading the murder investigation after the solicitor's body was found.

Joel's disappearance was previously confirmed after he failed to show his face in court. In the ITV soap scenes aired at the end of September, a warrant was issued for Joel's arrest as he was seemingly set to face his comeuppance for his twisted crimes, which included grooming Lauren Bolton.

However, after transferring money to his grooming victim and mother of his new son Lauren as well as his ex-wife Emily, Joel's car was found abandoned and it was believed by Kit and colleague DS Lisa Swain that Joel may have ended up taking his own life.

But the police investigation has since turned into solving Joel's murder after his body was found floating down a river. It was soon confirmed he'd been killed with a heavy weapon before entering the water.

With Swain off the case after Joel found threatening texts between Joel and her daughter Betsy, Kit has been left in charged of the investigation but Corrie viewers have been playing super sleuth with the help of an exciting series of flashbacks.

So far, Dee-Dee, her dad Ed and her uncle Ronnie have been put in the frame, as has Swain, Mason Radcliffe and more recently Carla Connor. But it seems Kit has hinted at his own involvement in Joel's demise.

During Friday night's (November 1) Corrie, Kit was shown tampering with evidence linked to the investigation after Swain gave him a tip about a red car. She had told him that whoever owns the red car that crashed into Greg’s wing mirror might know something about Joel and could have witnessed something related to the murder.

Kit returned to the station, where Craig sent him a spreadsheet of all the red cars in the area. He quizzed Craig on whether he'd read the document, or if he had sent it to Swain, to which he responded no on both accounts. With Craid heading back to work, Kit scrolled through the list, before secretly deleting the vehicle registered under his name.

Following the move, Corrie fans said they 'knew' Kit had something to do with Joel's demise and worked out what he probably plans to do next.

@thatsmypeachx shared alongside an episode preview for later this month: "What if Kit is interviewing Lisa as the main suspect, trying to frame her for Joel's murder (which he committed)." @WhoPotterVian added: "I reckon it's Kit. Joel probably found out he planted evidence on Nathan and tried to blackmail him, but Kit saw red and murdered him. That's why he was so keen to get DI Swain off the case, so he could take over and frame either Dee Dee or Swain for the murder. #Corrie."
