BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'it's sad' as they make Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe observation
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsStrictly Come Dancing fans have been left feeling sad for Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe as they once again found themselves fighting for their place in the competition.
The pair appeared to bounce back during the latest live show on Saturday night (November 23) after surviving being in the bottom two during the previous weekend's Blackpool special.
As they returned to the Elstree Studios ballroom, Montell and Johannes performed their quickstep to Get Happy by Ella Fitzgerald again in a bid to impress the judges.

They had received a score of 37 out of a possible 40 for the routine with Anton Du Beke saying it was their best performance since their couple’s choice. However, Craig Revel Horwood thought it looked "a bit stiff" at the beginning but felt the dynamics were "out of this world".
Then, during Sunday night's (November 24) results show, Gladiator Montell and Johannes found themselves under the dreaded red light for a second week in a row, this time alongisde EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and his professional dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas.
Both couples performed their routines again in the hope of making it through to next weekend's quarter-final. The judges unanimously agreed to save Montell and Johannes, sending Jamie and Michelle home and out of the competition.
It means Montell and Johannes have made it through to the Strictly 2024 quarter-final but the news of them being in the dance-off again left some worried for the pair.
@dianeisblonde said: "It's sad that the public don't seem to vote for Montell, Pete's fans are obviously voting in their droves. At this stage, the competition is so tight that "better" dancers are inevitably going to get sent home. #StrictlySpoiler." @RyanTheSoapking commented: "I'm surprised at Montell making the bottom 2 for the 3rd time as well despite getting 2 10s tonight. I thought she was so much more popular then this. It just goes to show everyone is voting for Chris Tasha & Sarah as the frontrunners whilst the others are suffering."
@JonathanRicha28 shared: "Montell is a good dancer with high scores but she is clearly not connecting with the audiences. Pete is still in because audiences like him- they see his progress which has been good with ups and downs. He’s an old style strictly contestant." @CSRizzoli23 added: "I really feel sorry for montell she's improving week after week and ending up in the dance off for a third time. People who are voting for pete need an eye test! Fgs get real he's clearly the worst. I'm glad the judges keep saving her #StrictlySpoiler."
