BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Claudia Winkleman declares love as Janette Manrara spots 'soulmates'

Claudia Winkelman was quick to declare her love after her Strictly Come Dancing co-star found her 'soulmate'. While Claudia has been back each weekend presenting the main show with Tess Daly, Janette has been back fronting spin-off show It Takes Two.

But last week, in a sweet move, the show's stars were able to bring their families along for a visit to the ballroom and Janette couldn't resist bringing along her daughter Lyra Rose, who she shares with Strictly pro Aljaz Skorjanec.

Janette took to social media with a string of adorable snaps from the day, which included Aljaz getting to spend time with his one-year-old daughter amid competing in the 2024 series of the BBC One dance contest with former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri.

But it also featured a couple of pictures of Claudia sweetly getting acquainted with Lyra. Captioning the joyous photos, Janette said: "Some fun #bts of Children’s Day a few days back at @bbcstrictly! I think @claudiawinkle and Lyra have become soul mates."

Claudia was quick to respond to the post, writing in the comments section: "I LOVE HER. The happiest baby girl." And fans were also gushing over the update.

@strictlycantdance posted: "Aw she is adorable and very much a Daddy’s girl." @rosemary.quinlan replied: "Ooh Aunty Claudia, just the best." @helencat82 added: "Awww lots of aunties and uncles for little Lyra she’s so adorable."

Last month, Janette explained how she and Aljaz are trying to make things work with Lyra, saying in a video posted to her Instagram Story: "We are commuting so the plan is that Lyra and I go down to London on Wednesday and we stay Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Aljaz in London and then we come back home on Saturday."
