BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans spot two 2025 contestants as they 'start petition'

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left 'starting a petition' as they spotted two people who they think should be part of the show's 2025 line-up.

While the 2024 series still on-going, with week eight of the BBC One dance contest taking place on Saturday night (October 9) ahead of the annual trip to Blackpool next weekend, some people are already thinking ahead to Strictly's 21st year on screens.

Last weekend, viewers of the popular programme saw competitor Sarah Hadland joined in training by a very familiar face. Her friend and Miranda co-star Miranda Hart got to visit her and dance partner Vito Coppola after publically showing her support for the pair.

During Sarah and Vito's latest VT, Miranda said: ""I'm here at Sarah and Vito's training room so like all great choreographers, I'm wearing a black turtle neck and carrying a small dog with me. So here I am," before walking into the room to a stunned Sarah.

But the pair weren't able to catch up until after Sarah and Vito had shown her their choreography for the week before Miranda later told Vito she was "grateful" he was "looking after her friend".

A video of Miranda's visit to Sarah and Vito has since been shared on Strictly's Instagram page with the caption: "Doing the choreography for #Strictly are we?" in a nod to Miranda's sitcom character and her little inputs into her pal's rehearsals with her Italian dance partner.

And it didn't take fans long to respond with demands for the comedian and actress to be part of Strictly 2025. @livswaiin said: "Petition for miranda to be on next year." @jinglyjanglyjo commented: "Please please get Miranda for next year!!! Sarah is my favourite this year and Miranda would be so epic!!" @coati782 shared: "Miranda for the win next year." @gonnaflynow13 added: "Next year Miranda and Vito, it would be epic."

Since then, Big Brother 2023 finalist and Strictly superfan Yinrun Huang has been seen behind the scenes at Strictly in a video on Instagram captioned: "#Strictly superfan Yinrun finishing her Apple Dance with Carlos and Nancy is the wholesome content we need!"

As well as being seen with Carlos Gu and Nancy Xu, Yinrun was also seen hugging Motsi Mabuse and chatting to Craig Revel Horwood. And fans think maybe she should swap the BB house for the Strictly ballroom.
