BBC Strictly Come Dancing stars in double blow amid week ten live show ahead of final
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsTheir trip to Blackpool is now somewhat of a distrant memory and now, the seven reamining couples in Strictly Come Dancing have their sights set on the ever-nearing final.
After the show's live annual broadcast from the world-famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom last weekend, the BBC One dance contest star is now back in their usual ballroom at Elstree Studios for week ten of the competition on Saturday night (November 23).
Hoping to bounce back from their second time in the dreaded dance-off, this series will be Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe with a Quickstep to Get Happy by Ella Fitzgerald while Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal will be aiming for better than bottom of the leaderboard this weekend with their Tango to Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins.

Elsewhere, following their near-perfect scores last weekend, Tasha Ghouri and Sarah Hadland will both be trying to impress with their respective dance partners,Aljaz Skorjanec and Vito Coppola. While the former pairing will dance and American Smooth to Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi, the later will perform a Rmba to Chains by Tina Arena.
After getting their highest score of the series in Blackpool, Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell will return to the ballroom with a Paso Doble to El Gato Montes by Manuel Panella. JB Gill and Lauren Oakley will dance the Charleston to Yes Sir! That’s My Baby by Firehouse Five Plus Two while Jamie Borthwick and and Michelle Tsiakkas Foxtrot to Stand By Me by Ben E. King.
But it is Pete that is the favourite with BetMGM to be the next celebrity voted off Strictly Come Dancing. The reality star and podcast host heads the betting at 3/4 to be the ninth contestant to exit the dancing show, with Montell at 5/2 and JB at 3/1 next in the market.

With Sarah (80/1), Tasha (80/1) and Chris (100/1) seemingly safe from elimination, Jamie at 5/1 looks like the only other contestant in danger.
UK Director at BetMGM, Sam Behar, said: "By his own admission, Pete Wicks was very lucky to survive in Strictly last week and we make the TOWIE star the favourite to leave this time. He is odds-on at 3/4, but it’s a tight betting heat with Montell Douglas (5/2), JB Gill (3/1) and Jamie Borthwick (5/1) all short enough in the market to be considered contenders for the exit door."
