ITV Emmerdale fans vow to 'stop watching' as child death 'sealed' after sinister clue'

Emmerdale fans are expressing their discontent over the recent plot twist involving Tom King in the soap.

The villainous Tom (played by James Chase) has been tormenting and manipulating his wife Belle (portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper) for an extended period. Belle has since disclosed the truth to her family and severed ties with Tom, eager to break free from his control.

However, last week's events took a shocking turn when Belle resorted to attacking Tom in self-defence, striking him in the back with an axe. Belle subsequently confessed to assaulting him, but regrettably, she can't substantiate that Tom has been abusing her as he has adeptly concealed his actions.

This week, Tom was taken aback after discovering his tablet - which houses videos of him filming Belle in their residence - had disappeared. It was later revealed that cousin Carl had borrowed it before Isaac Dingle brought it home, reports Leeds Live.

Isaac's mother Moira (played by Natalie J. Robb) was puzzled to find the tablet at their house, but upon accessing it, she stumbled upon the disturbing footage of Tom's actions towards Belle.

Recognising this as proof of his abuse, Moira contacted Belle and left a voicemail message before deciding to deliver the tablet to her. However, due to Moira's brain diagnosis, she suffered a seizure in a forest.

Later, Belle visited Moira, desperate to understand the content of the voicemail. Regrettably, Moira couldn't recall anything from the past few hours, leaving Belle heartbroken.

In the latest episode of Emmerdale on Friday (October 4), Tom finally discovered the location of his missing tablet, but it spells trouble for one of the village's youngsters.

The drama unfolded when Tom grew suspicious of Carl's behaviour and, during a trip to the dentist, he pressed the young boy for answers. Under pressure, Carl confessed that Issac had the tablet, which left Tom seething with anger.

Later, as Tom watched Isaac and Moira from afar, he ominously instructed Carl to keep quiet about their conversation.

Tom's menacing stance seemed to suggest dark times ahead for Issac, as Carl ominously stated: "I will deal with Isaac. When I decide..." This revelation has undoubtedly angered fans who are eager for Tom to face justice for his actions, especially as he is determined to retrieve his tablet.

On an Emmerdale fan page on Facebook, viewers expressed their frustration. One fan commented: "OMG it is so frustrating so far! ! All the evidence and in the wrong hands. Come on Writers give your heads a wobble and make things work for Belle just once, please! ".

Another shared their anxiety, writing: "My heart rate is through the roof ! ! I'm so angry, I just know Tom will get his tablet back. When is he going to get his comeuppance! " And a third threatened to stop watching the show if Tom succeeds, saying: "If Tom manages to get it back I'm going to stop watching. Don't let him get away with it, they are stupid as it will show other abusers that they can do the same."

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
