Life in the Prince and Princess of Wales's household is said to be pretty normal - despite the fact that Prince William and Kate are the future King and Queen. Both are known to be seriously hands-on parents who prefer to take an active role in their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis' - day-to-day upbringing, including doing the school runs themselves and encouraging them in all their hobbies and extracurricular activities.

While Kate and William have some staff, none of them currently live in their Windsor home of Adelaide Cottage with the Wales family, which means that Kate regularly gets to indulge in one of her favourite hobbies: cooking. Over the years, Kate has opened up a few times about her favourite things to whip up for her family, which include homemade pizzas and cheesy pasta with salads. However, there is one dish in particular that - by his own admission - brings out an "unattractive" eating habit in Prince William, leaving Kate forced to adapt to avoid this less than ideal scenario.

The dish in question is none other than a firm British favourite: curry. During an appearance of William and Kate's on Going Home with Vick and Jordan on Radio 1 the question of who would be making dinner that night came up, and the couple joked around about who the responsibility would fall on, with Kate saying, "Are you cooking?" before William responded the family would likely be having curry that evening.

"You're looking at me?" Kate quipped in response because that dish is usually something she would cook for the family before the couple discussed that the final call on what was on the menu would be decided by what time they got back home. "Yeah, it probably will be a curry or teriyaki salmon, something like that," Kate explained.

Their hosts then asked just how spicy they enjoy their curries, or if they generally opt for a more mild dish, which led William to explain his "unattractive" eating habit. "I can't do too much spice, I start sweating. It's not attractive," the future King jokingly explained. Kate, on the other hand, can handle the heat, so she if forced to do a quick, last-minute adaptation to the dish to ensure everyone is happy. "Whereas I like the spice so I have to sort of cook the curry and then add the spice, extra spice at the end," she explained, showing the lengths she is willing to go to to ensure William's sweating levels stay to a minimum.
