When trend-setting social media star Emma Chamberlain first walked into Warby Parker’s Hayes Valley storefront with her dad more than 10 years ago, they ended up leaving with matching glasses. She’s been a Warby Parker wearer ever since, with her stylish frames often popping up in her viral vlogs and high-wattage Instagram posts.
Now, Chamberlain is the designer behind some of the brand’s most popular styles. After releasing a limited-edition collection together last year, the New York brand and social media star have reunited once again to create four new ’60s and ’90s-inspired silhouettes — all available as eyeglasses or sunglasses.

“Everything from the shapes to the color palette to the names came from a really personal place for me,” Chamberlain said in a statement. “I’ve been wearing Warby Parker frames since I was literally 14 years old, and there’s no one I would rather have partnered with for my first foray into designing my own eyewear.”
The assortment features the Emma (a ’60s-inspired frame), the Frances (’90s-style oval frame), the Johnny (a shield-like silhouette with spacious lenses) and the Patty (a rectangular, wraparound style with ’90s influence). Plus, the frames even come in custom packaging and a lens cloth illustrated by Isabella Cotier.
“Warby Parker was inspired by the frames our grandparents wore in the ’40s and ’50s and the social ethos of our parents who came of age in the ’60s, so it was a full-circle moment when Emma wanted to infuse multiple eras——and pay homage to her loved ones——in this collection,” Warby Parker’s co-founder and co-CEO Neil Blumenthal, said in a statement. “What continues to make Emma such a fantastic partner is her uncanny ability to deliver an elevated design point of view that still
feels approachable. She takes her work seriously but not herself and that’s what Warby Parker is all about.”
The entire collection launched Friday, Nov. 15 and is available to shop on the Warby Parker website.
