‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ Sets Series Finale Premiere Date as Fox Sets Midseason Launches for Denis Leary’s ‘Going Dutch,’ Medical Drama ‘Doc’

Fox has announced its midseason premiere dates, which includes the series finale of “9-1-1: Lone Star.”

It was reported in September that “Lone Star” would be ending with its fifth season at Fox. Now, that season is scheduled to resume on Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. ET followed by “Rescue: Hi Surf.” “Lone Star’s” series finale will then air on Feb. 3 at 9 p.m. ET.

Fox’s midseason launches will officially kick off on Jan. 2 with the return of “Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen” at 8 p.m. ET. That is followed by the Season 3 premiere of the Joel McHale comedy “Animal Control at 9 p.m. and the new Denis Leary military workplace comedy “Going Dutch” at 9:30 p.m. ET, establishing a new Thursday comedy block at the broadcaster.

On Jan. 7, the new Fox medical drama “Doc” will premiere at 9 p.m. following “Kitchen Nightmares: Road to Super Bowl LIX.” “Doc” was originally ordered to series at Fox in 2023. Fox will then debut Season 3 of the reality competition series “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” on Jan. 8, airing from 8-10 p.m.

Fox will air Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9, with the official broadcast beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET. That will kick off what is being dubbed “Fox’s Super Week.” Immediately following the game, the Season 3 premiere of the Rob Lowe-hosted quiz show “The Floor” will debut with exact timing depending on when the game ends. “Rescue: Hi Surf” was originally meant to hold the post-Super Bowl timeslot, but the episode meant to air after the big game will now air on Feb. 10 at 9 p.m.

Season 13 of “The Masked Singer” will debut on Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. That will be followed by the time period launch of “The Floor” at 9 p.m. Finally, on Feb. 13 Gordon Ramsay launches Season 4 of “Next Level Chef” at 8 p.m., followed by “Animal Control” and “Going Dutch.”
