Game Awards Nominations 2024: ‘Astro Bot,’ ‘Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’ Lead With 7 Nods Each
by Jennifer Maas · VarietyThe Game Awards 2024 nominations were announced Monday, with “Astro Bot” and “Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth” tying for the most nods with seven apiece.
This year’s show, which marks the 10th anniversary for the awards, features 29 competitive categories, including Game of the Year. The games vying for that top honor include “Astro Bot,” “Balatro,” “Black Myth: Wukong,” “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree,” “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth,” and “Metaphor: ReFantazio.”
Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the Game Awards will take place Dec. 12 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
