Podcast: Who impressed most in the Upfront debate?

The first big debate is done and dusted and there's a lot to dissect.

Monday’s Upfront with Katie Hannon saw ten leaders lock horns in a bid to win over voters, and RTÉ’s General Election podcast Behind the Ballot went behind the scenes to watch it all unfold.

In a special bonus episode recorded from backstage, David and Fran were joined by journalist Alison O’Connor to figure out who will be happy and who might be disappointed by their performances on the night.

And of course they were joined by their co-host Katie who gave her own insight into the unenviable job of trying to keep politicians from talking over each other for two hours.

The night brought a lot of talking points, from the standing arrangements to who would go coalitions with who, and whether anyone's individual performance might have a sway on this election.
